Meeting of two libraries

Our colleagues from China are managers and specialists in the field of digital resources, rare books, Arabic-language and Russian-language collections. They came to share their experience and learn more about our projects.

 

We showed:

• RUDN main building and campus
• work at the subscription desk
• library projects: from digital transformation and resource integration to open science initiatives

 

And in return, we learned how Beijing uses new technologies, develops a team and implements modern approaches to data processing. Such meetings are not just an exchange of experience. These are steps towards joint projects in which the RUDN library and the Peking University Library will be able to combine knowledge, technology and culture.
