Our colleague has graduated his Master’s degree study with excellent grades in his major Philology, RUDN Russian Language Institute
Al Dawood Jaafar (Syria), a library employee, has successfully defended his Master's thesis in his minor "Digital innovations in Philology".
His master's thesis was highly acclaimed and he received a diploma with distinction in the field of "Digital Innovations in Philology".
Jaafar was born in Syria and received a bachelor's degree in the Humanities. He knows 4 languages: Arabic, English, Russian and German. Jaafar enjoys swimming, reading and writing poetry — Your Academic Cat
About working in the library:
When I was offered an interview, I was full of stereotypes about working in a library. I imagined it as a quiet and boring place where all that was done was issuing and returning books. But, as it turned out, the reality is far from this! The RUDN Library is a dynamic place where every day there is something new to study and discover. Here I found a lively atmosphere where people actively communicate, exchange knowledge and ideas. This is where the real intellectual stimulation happens! The library has wonderful colleagues who make me feel at home with my family. I was also pleasantly surprised by the many services and facilities that our library provides - modern technologies, electronic resources and databases that help students and teachers in their research and studies. The RUDN Library is not only books, but also a whole world of knowledge.
We are proud of Jaafar, he is going to continue his Postgraduate study at RUDN and to work in the library with us.
