Creative Ascendance: Highlights from the Fifth Poetry Tournament at RUDN
Participants showcased their talents and received invaluable advice from the jury
Yesterday, the Fifth Poetry Tournament took place at the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples, transforming into a true celebration for all poetry enthusiasts! We are delighted to announce the results of this remarkable event:
🥇 First Place - Rodion Shafikov, Master's student at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
🥈 Second Place - Yegor Botkin, Fourth-year student at the Faculty of Philology
🥉 Third Place - Evelina Timofeeva, Third-year student at the Faculty of Philology
🎁 Audience Favorite Awards went to:
• Pavel Boychenko (Fourth year, Medical Institute)
• Arnold Emilien (First year, Faculty of Philology)
• Yegor Botkin (Fourth year, Faculty of Philology)
👫 The jury for the tournament included:
• Yulia Nikolaevna Ebzeeva, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities at RUDN
• Nikolai Kalinichenko, Poet, Writer, Literary Critic
• Stefania Konykova-Danilova, Poet, Mentor, Cultural Figure
• Elena Yuryevna Lotova, Director of the Educational and Scientific Information Library Center (Scientific Library)
🤝 The jury shared with the participants secrets for successful performances, valuable advice, and recommendations, and proposed the creation of a new nomination, "Discovery," for debutants of the tournament.
Stefania Konykova-Danilova presented a personal award to Elena Brilyantshikova, a first-year student at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, who participated in the tournament for the first time.
